Whispers of the Urban Snails was a solo exhibition at the project space arthereistanbul in Kadıköy, Istanbul.
During my seven-month stay in Istanbul, I engaged with the city’s soundscape. Under the working title Sound-Souvenirs, I created kinetic objects that produce sounds when activated. Each work in this series refers to an everyday situation and attempts to capture a fleeting moment in a retrievable form.
