The various sounds of a neighbourhood blend into a continuous hum. Waves at the harbour, a traffic jam along with honking, people shouting, young boys brushing the footwear of pedestrians, construction sites, music from cafés. Due to this overstimulation, a rushing noise also develops in my ear.
